2024年8月30日インターネット上にとあるオンライン美術館が生まれた。Cream Soda Museumである。作者は、作者とは何かという問題を撹乱させるかのように多種多様な別名義を用いた作品、いや、作者を制作するアーティスト中村悠一郎である。今回カレーライスギャラリーでは、Cream Soda Museum自体のWebサイトをハイパーリンクを貼ることによって展示する。ここでは、あえて、あまり内容に触れないでおこう。280以上の名義がアーカイブされている一筋縄ではいかないCream Soda Museumに右往左往ぜひ目を運んでいただきたい。

福島県須賀川市を拠点に活動するアーティスト。1993年生まれ。2019年武蔵野美術大学大学院彫刻学科修了。作者という名義にまつわる美術制度を批評的に、あるいは詩的に再検討するというコンセプトのもと、200を超える多様な別名義を駆使して制作・発表を行っている。各名義はそれぞれ固有のスタイルやテーマ、システムをもっており、作者群・作品群を通じて、「作者とは何か」「作家というアイデンティティとは何か」「一貫性とは何か」などという根源的な問いを投げかける。一部別名義には、Y・N、栄燿一郎、老松孝志、福岡壱海、楡木真紀、ダニエル・ホール、カンヅメコノミー、オルタネームコミューンなどが挙げられ、それぞれドローイング、写真、プロジェクト、ワークショップ、パフォーマンス、インスタレーション、経済圏、コミューンなどといった多彩なジャンルにわたり活動を展開している。

Yuichiro Nakamura
An artist based in Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture. Born in 1993. Graduated from Musashino Art University Graduate School, Department of Sculpture in 2019. Under the concept of critically and poetically re-examining the art system surrounding the artist's name, the artist creates and presents works using over 200 diverse aliases. Each alias has its own unique style, theme, and system, and through the group of artists and works, it raises fundamental questions such as "What is an artist?", "What is artist identity?", and "What is consistency?". Some of the aliases include Y.N., Yoichiro Sakae, Takashi Oimatsu, Ichikai Fukuoka, Maki Nureki, Daniel Hall, Kanzumekonomy, and Altername Commune, each engaging in diverse genres such as drawing, photography, projects, workshops, performance, installation, economic spheres, and communes.
